While I was deployed to Afghanistan my wife and a few friends were participating in a sail around the island of Oahu and they suffered a dismasting. Fortunately, nobody got hurt and they were able to cut away the rig and motor back to our home port at the Waikiki Yacht Club. We have replaced the standing rigging with all original specifications and manufacturer's equipment but I have not had any luck getting the rigging specifications (shroud tensions, mast rake, etc) from Hunter. Does anyone have that info they can share with me. Now that I am back from the desert, I am anxious to get out on the water and enjoy the Hawaiian Islands. Thanks Frank

Additional info

One additional piece of info. My boat is a 1993 year model 33.5. I don't know if the rigging specs changed with each model year. Frank

Under the Blue resource tab there is a reference library that has a quick description of tuning a B&R Rig.

Frank, don't make the mistake...

...of thinking that you have a B&R rig. None of these boats have B&R's. I have a 35.5. Suggest you set the rake at 12", I carry 17" on my boat. I have prebend at 7". You can use the same prebend. If you pick up a Loos guage you can set the shroud tension at 12 to 15% of breaking strength according to shroud size. Leave the backstay off until you are finished with the rest.
