i am considering having new rigging built over the winter. my 86 h23 OEM stuff is kinda tired. am undecieded yet as to if i want a furler yet tho or not but either way i will end-up extending that damnable chainplate up from the anchor locker to a few inches above deck. can someone give me some places to get estimates from. i already know of "Rig Right" but would like to get estimates from some others. the rigging on my h23 is 5/32" 1x19. i am considering going up at least one size....possibly 2. (3/16"-1/4"). any thoughts on this. the boat is sorta being rigged for coastal, (tex gulf coast/icw), cruising. i am also considering building my own. i know this may not be real "cost effective" but i like the idea of self sufficiency.....thoughts?

Has anyond dealt w/ Secosouth?

they quoted me what seems to be a pretty reasonable 405.00 to build me a set of 3/16" for my h23. ....thats one size up from the oem 5/32" with all new fittings, turnbuckles etc. i'll have to ream-out my 1/4" chainplates but there appears to be plenty of metal there to go to 5/15" clevis'. has anyone had experience w/ Secosouth?
