Oday 23 2 watch Hill
Just raised the mast on my O'Day 23-2 and have a question about bow.
At the chailnplate on bow there are 3 mounting holes that the forstay could attach to - one way up front on what seems like thinner metal and 2 holes on a perpendicular piece of metal coming aft from that. Even if I used the first for the forstay, second for jib what is the third for ?? And there seems to be no place at the bow to attach the anchor ...

Hmmm. My Oday 23-2 has only one place to attach the forestay. Do you have a picture?

For the anchor, the 23-2 has the anchor locker on the foredeck. The anchor rode is attached to the boat within the locker. However, this is not a "strong" anchor point; it's only meant to keep the end of the rode from slipping overboard. When at anchor, the road attaches to one of the forward cleats.
