Our youth group has a 1972 O22. Partially restored and ready for a new season. No one remembers how to rig the main sheet. The resource pages shows a block assembly attached to the backstay. Our's has a block with a clam cleat on the port side and a small block on the starboard. Is this unique to the '72 edition or a modification done by the previous owner. The pic of last year's rig will help...but less guess work is always best. Thanks

Port block has a little tab to attach main sheet to.

then run bitter end up thru rear boom pulley- then down thru starboard block-then back up thru front boom pulley-then down thru port block and then to cam cleat. Good luck. (Main sheet attaches to port block with a small shackel or pin. One end of mainsheet should have a small splice (loop) for this purpose)
