Ok I know this has been discussed a number of times but I'm having some problems with the rigging and I'm kinda lost.Yesterday we setup the mast for the first time. We did this well away from water so that we could figure out what our process was going to be and how to get everything moved around the boat. Anyway we didn't get much farther then raising the mast. We connected the mast raiseing system to the mast and got the stays all connected. We brought the mast up and everything seemed to be going well. Once I got the mast up, two very appearent problems surfaced. First the mast had a slight bend to starboard above the spreaders. Secondly the temporary stay used in the mast raising process was so tight that I couldn't get it off the starboard side. I tried loosing the trunbuckles on the starboard side and tightening up the ones on the port side to take out the bend in the mast but I couldn't seem to get it all out. Also no matter what I did I couldn't get that temporary stay to be loose. Any suggestions, or is it time to find a pro to get it rigged the first time so I know what I am doing. ThanksJason
