RIGGING FOR 34' 1985

I just bought a 1985 Hunter 34' and I am having a hard time figuting out the rigging for the main sheet,boom vang and traveller. Can anybody tell me where can I find a book/manual with the rigging for the Hunter 34' does Hunter sells an owners manual that cover the rigging of this model ? Appreciate any help. Find a Hunter 34' and take photos.

I'd send you photos of the running rigging, but I'm not on my boat at present. The manual does not cover or show how the running lines are setup. I suspect that you may be able to find another Hunter 34 near you that has the lines setup. Take photos of the lines or draw them. ~ Happy sails to you ~ _/) ~

H 34 lines

These are the Hunter specs I have: Main & Jib Halyard is 7/16" Low Stretch 110' Main Sheet 7/16 Yacht Brade 60' Genoa Sheet 1/2" Yacht Braid 100' Traveler & Vang are 3/8" Yacht Braid 40' Topping Lift 1/8" 7x7 PVC Thimble to thimble 44' Reef 3/8 XLS 45' Are you looking to replace or just the setup? The link will take you to owners manuals on the web but no running rigging help. If it's setup help, you're gonna have to walk the docks until you find another H34 or H31 etc. BTW Congrads on your new boat.

Running Rigging Pics Welcome

Hi Ray, Thanks for the reply. I would really appreciate if you could send me some pics of the running rigging of the Hunter 34. I have searched in my club and the Hunter's there are either different models or newer models with different set up. I am almost convinced that there are some blocks and other parts missing as the boat was hauled from Long Island, NY to Toronto, Canada and sometimes the marinas taking the boat apart don't pay much attention to one time customer. Anyway I would appreciate pictures of running rigging for Hunter 34' from 1983 to 1987 which I believe will be the same as my 1985. Please send small size (resolution)GIF, JPEG or BMP files to marcio@sympatico.ca with copy to marcio@icecorp.ca Sometimes, my office server does not allow pics depending of the size of the file.
