Well i have resolved my wiring problem,rewire the boat. Now to my next problem. Does anybody have a diagram for setting up the rigging for an Oday 25? Both before and after the sails are on.

do you mean how to route sheets etc.? I didn't know and asked for awhile before I finally got an answer. If you step your mast, which I hadn't done, some will be more intuitive. others will be more easily understood/apparent. gene

Owner's "manual"
Check under the "resources" tab on this site, and go to manuals. The Oday 23 rigging instructions are there. The 25 and the 23 had the same rigging.

Mike thank you for the reply. The problem i seem to have with the printed information i find on site is it's not leible.I have also viewed the electrical diagram and i find i cant read that either. Is there another place to look? Buck...

Try downloading the image, saving it to your hard drive, then opening it locally. You should be able to see it much better. There ain't a lot of detail anyway.

Scarce Printed Resources
Buck, I think you're going to find that printed resources are pretty scarce; however, there's a ton of help available if you are willing to take it a little slow. You sound like you're a lot like me in that you want something in front of you that "lays it all out". I don't think you're going to find that. Instead, take it one step at a time, and ask on here what specificially you want to do.

Make a Good Copy?
RW, I know this is a scary proposition, but if you'll send me that document, I'll scan it and store it in a PDF file then send it back to you. I have a copy of that document that was a faxed copy that was sent to the PO, but it was VERY poor quality. If you'll send me that, I'll scan it, store it in a PDF file, and make it available to others. I did this with my Coronado documentation, and it worked very well. You can contact me off-forum at hparsons@parsonsys.com (in case you've lost it)

I have the sales pamphlet and rigging manual for my 26 scanned and posted on this web page. I found them stuffed in a crevase after I bought the boat, so they are not in exactly pristine condition. Be advised, they are very big files, and meant to be that way, so they are very legible and printable. Hope they help!

Small print
R.W. The rigging instructions are to small to read. I tried to enlarge them by 500 but i still couldnt read them, they are to blury.Possibly Herb could take a look at them and correct the problem? My computer skills are not much past e-mail's.

I've already gotten a number of requests "back channel" for a copy of the docs. I've had my boat almost 5 years now, and you're the first one I've seen that has the original documentation. Everything else I've seen is a copy, and usually a bad one.

Thanks, mine is a 78 32CC, its amazing that after all the ODays built that the documentation is so hard to find and when you do its in bad shape,what a treasure you have there and thanks for sharing and thank you Herb for reformatting it for the 21 century.
