I purchased a 1993 23.5 recently and I am looking for rigging instructions and spinnaker rigging instructions. Nothing came with the boat, I have figured out some of it but would like anyone's ideas or any information on how to set the spinnaker and all of the halyards, etc. Thanks! Stevie Schaefer

Try this

Typically you should run the tack line up the middle and the sheets outside all lines on either side. Here's a slightly different setup with the tack line using the sheaves of the furling line and 3 Clear Step sheeves installed for the furling jib. That way all the lines are already in place. This is for a spinnaker pole you can make easily and keep the main from blanketing the spin. This one is for a Hunter 29.9 and you may want to trim a few feet off for your 23. (Note: there are two pages of pix and direx on the link.) Spinnaker is the second-most fun on a sailboat!

Sam the man

Steve call the anchorage in Lyons and ask for Sam. he is very knowlegable and helped me set the asymetrical on our H26. We also had a H23.5 great boat. I also have some graphics etc for the 23.5 if you are interested. Look me up in the owners directory.
