Rig Tuning Beneteau First 44.7

I have recently had the spreader bars replaces as the factory supplied bars crack on the inter ends. The rigger reinstalled the mast and now performance suffers from one tack to the next. Secondly on close hauled course the lee side lowers become very loose. is this normal..? Is there a laymen's guide to the rig tuning of a 44.7 and if there are different settings for light medium and heavy air.
