Rig tension?

I finally bought a Loos gauge and want to tune the rig on my C30. Anyone have an idea what lbs of tension to use? The manual that came with it says rule-of-thumb is 12% or so of breaking tension, with the aft lowers a tad looser than forward lowers. Anyone used the Loos gauge and wish to share any numbers? Loos gage

Just did this last weekend. The rule of thumb they give works pretty well. My uppers and backstay are 1/4" and the lowers 3/16". I have roller furling so I use the backstay as a reference with no tensioner on. the Loos numbers are as follows. Uppers and Backstay-37 Lowers, fore and aft - 25 I try not to put more tension on the rig than nessary. Your location probably requires a little more. Since the Catalina mast is a straight extrusion I prefer to keep it that way. So the aft lowers shouldn't allowed the mast to pump. Good luck!
