I know there is a lot on this topic but...
Is there a general rule of thumb for tensioning a rig? I have a Loos tensioner that came with the boat. I check what the yard does every year just out of curiosity... this year the backstay just bearly reads into the numbers (where previous years it has read 10). I am not a round the can racer, but a fair weather sailor. Would 15% of wire breaking strength be a good place to start? Should inners and uppers be the same? I have a Pearson 303 with roller furling for main and headsail.
Thanks,
Rich
