Rig dimensions

Technical question. I am in the process of replacing all my standing rigging. I have a copy of the factory parts catalog that lists all the dimensions of the standing rig. When Catalina lists the forestay as 41'6 1/2" long what does that really mean?? Center pin to pin, the end of the upper eye to the end of the lower swage stud ?? Any help would be appreciated.TT

I replaced my rig in july i used center hole to center hole and left about half the thread on my turn buckle. My cabin roof is compressed slightly so my rig is a little long I would check my old rig for lenth and get new ones alittle smaller to allow for stretch ( maybe 1/2 " ) J Olson
