Far from it..

Wiki - posted horribly tongue in cheek, and notice "citation needed"....not for me, but soooo many people believe in it as fact..I even went toe to toe with a 12th grade english teacher (phd, MS, BS) of my son's that cited wiki over research with references..

that is why I put the cdc link first...and encourage all to research this and all chemicals, whether you use them or eat them, at the site of your choice...

Have a great day!

Holy Moly Guys!!! Enough Sarcasm and Flaming.

Maybe I am not use to this, and hopefully is done with good humor ribbing on each other part. (No Pun intended). I appreciate all opinions and really like the quick responses, but enough with sarcasm and such. I am awaiting to get some 2 part adhesive as was suggested by early post, and have purchased a 1 x 2' patch to go over entire front panel. I have Toluene and Acetone on hand, and have and will wear protective clothing and respirator. I am sorry I started some back and forth on the opinion thing, but everything we do in life has some risk. I will take all precautions as suggested and hopefully will have a safe and hole free dinghy at the end of this. Again, I mean this with highest respect. This is a great community, and quick to respond and help out fellow sailors. To everyone who has responded. I genuinely thank you for everything. This has been fun.... Jerry Belbin.
ps Maybe someday will get a chance to help someone else out with stuff, and maybe see some of you folks on the Water. I live on East Coast (Clarenville) Newfoundland, we have some great boating if you come in July and leave by end of August. All the best to everyone, and again, thank you. Jerry. (Long may your big Jib Draw) (Saying as part of Newfoundland Screech In) to allow people from away to become honorary Newfoundlanders......

You don't say where you are at. I had a bird try to eat a fish on my inflatable high pressure floor and puncture it while I was in Florida. I patched it several times but the humidity worked against it. I did finally get a patch that held for a few years by doing it inside an airconditioned building. However the next repair was done in Sevilla Spain and the very dry air made the patching much easier and more effective. Knock on wood or hypalon sitll holding several years later back here in the NorthEast US.
