Rewiring the SS Arch

I spent the wet weekend trying to wire my solar panels thru the arch using the existing pathway but have hit a wall.
Tried using everythng imaginable as a snake from a 1/4" snake to 180# metal fishing leader. Seems that the tubing is plugged about 6" down from the bend at the top. I can snake up to that point from the top and bottom. Tried to pull the existing speaker and power wires up or down, they won't budge.

Anyone else run into this or have any suggestions.

Checked the other Arch supports none were drilled to accept wiring, does anyone know if the stainless support plates are predrilled?

I am pretty sure only 1 bolted plate has a hole for the wiring,try pulling down
thee wiring for the speakers and lite and than pull up at the light where the
wires come out.
Maybe 2 people 1 pull dow than 1 pull up and try to get the wiring loose.
I did not have a problem running 2 heavy wires from my solar panels down the arch.
I am not at my boat in Fl. and up in NY but will look at my photo's and
could look and see when I return to Fl Sept 3 or 4.
But like I said try pulling each end up and down.

Is it the forward or stern 2" tube you're threading? The one could be partially block by the the screw for the traveller cam (if you have the arch traveller).

You have a problem I'm very familiar with.
When I Re-did my arch wiring, I tried putting in a few extra wires.
Basically almost impossible.
Here is why.
The arch (at least on my 49), is removable. In other words, when the boat is shipped, the arch is down.
On the arch, there are 2 coupling sections, with large oval head machine screws holding it together.
I was very curious on how this was constructed, as it appeared to me the only way to make it from hollow tubing was laser cut, so that the curves all matched up.
In reality, the connector parts are cast in solid stainless, welded to the tube frame, and then polished. I could go into more detail, but I think you get the picture.
In the casting there is a single 3/8" hole going through it.
Doesn't leave much room. Just enough for the necessary factory wires
No way to enlarge it.

Thanks for the great advice, the weather is supposed to clear tomorrow so I'll be back at it. I'll update with the outcome.
