I've heard conflicting views on what to do with your transmission when under sail. Should it be kept in neutral or reverse when sailing?
The Paragon tranny reverse position has to be held firmly for the plates to engage so putting this transmission in reverse while sailing will not stop the prop from turning and will cause wear on the transmission, the forward gear is the correct position because there is a noticeable click to lock it in gear thus stopping the prop from turning.Do you know right position of the Paragon reverse gear (Atomic engine) under sail? I didn't find it at the operation manual.
