Reverse Cycle Heat Water Temp

Our current water temperature is about 51F. Should a standard 16K reverse cycle air conditioner/heater produce reasonable cabin heat with water temperature at 51F or is this water temp too cold. Ambient air temperature is about 55-60.

It sure should. Down to 40F at least before the reverse cycle starts to balk. We've used ours on Lake Superior with skim ice in the harbor.

In the dead of winter here in Louisiana, the water will sometimes get that cold.. the reverse cycle works just fine during those times.
