I am considering adding a swim platform to my Pearson 303 to accomadate a large dog. It has a vetitcal transom so it would appearr to be a good candidate for this. Other than ruining the appearsance of the boat, does anyone have any thoughts on this? Materials, suppliers, etc? Thank you. Bob reeve21@comcast.net

I saw it done...
...on a Freedom 36 at my former yacht club. The commodore had a sugar scoop added to a flat transom. It looked fine, solid and sturdy, but the gelcoat was slightly discolored from the rest of the hull after it was sprayed. Most likely he had it done through Freedom in Middletown, RI. There was also someone on this Forum that mounted a platform to his Hunter. You might want to search the archives. There was a picture that accommodated it.
