I use a log chain about 60 ft long to get depth. The front dolly has wheels about 18 inches in diameter to roll on. The worst part is getting blocks to hold the trailer while I unhook and tie on with the chain!

SteveSam;

With Oday 25 shoal keel, I would suggest that you invest into a trailer extension either off to the side of the hitch or under the hitch and a keel guide. With that you should be able to get the boat onto the trailer by yourself like a good friend of mine did who had the same boat.

As for ramps, I suggest talking with the locals for the longest ramp which to launch from without any overhead obstruction when making a decision to launch anywhere. That is the key. Should your trailer tires go off the end of the ramp, I suggest that you also consider as part of your gear 2 X 6 boards about 4-6 feet long. You would cram the board under the first tire of the axle closest to the ramp and then against the ramp and you should be able to pull out. Sometimes a real steep ramp actually hinders you in launching and reitrieving but again check with the locals as to the longest ramp around.
