I own a 1981 H22 and have had the boat for 3 sailing seasons.
All of the wood is in need of some serious restoration. I just pulled Her out of
the water ( Michigan weather ) and would like to spend some over the winter
working on bringing the teak back to brite.
First, when I pull the screws out of the cabin top hand rails, are there any nuts
or any other type of retainer that will fall into oblivion in the cabin top?
Any source for replacement teak plugs?
Last. The downhaul pulley in the rudder box is pretty much wasted. West Marine
doesn't know if any that they have will be a match. I should "order one of each
and send back what doesn't work". Their words. Any help?
Pulley about 24mm dia. (.95 in.), mounting holes C-C 58mm (2.28 in.)
Thanks in advance. JB.
