Restoring old Gauges

Looking for someone who might know how to obtain parts for an old depth meter and speed indicator installed on a 1977 Hunter 30. They are old but just the same they work fine just need the faces replaced. They were manufactured by a company called Electro Marine Systems out of East Amherst,N.Y. This company is now out of buisness. The gauges were not installed by Hunter from the factory but were added at a later date.

Although my Hunter is a 25 footer, my problems are quite similar (gauges too); and, as noted in your posting, it is also my depth gauge and knot meter.I am more than interested to see if we can get a positive response here. I was told, by a local marine electronics store that my only choice was to replace them in toto. Also, do you (or anyone reading this posting) know how to calibrate the knotmeter, mine reads 3 knots at the dock. It seems pretty accurate at speeds above 3 knots (as compared to GPS readings) but will not drop below 3.

Jeez guys, you're talking 23 yr. old technology here!!!Give it up and move into the 21st century. Want accuracy, want durability, want to be able to depend on the information your instruments provide...upgrade to something thats a little more modern. Unless we're talking about a restoration of a boat you're not going to use...
