I am rebuilding a 1981 Daysailor using parts from an 1982 (hull damaged). Have replaced all of the running rigging. In the Daysailor rigging instructions it says to lead the Jib sheets aft inside the shrouds to the Fairleads and Cam cleats on the Jib Sheet Travelers. What exactly do these parts look like? I have the traveler track and the adjustable slider, it looks like it takes a pin through it to attach the fairleads. I have looked all over the Internet and can't find anything that looks like I think it should in order to work. If anyone has a Daysailor rigged this way could you send me a closeup picture, so I will know what to look for? Or failing that send me a picture or discription of how you have your Jib sheets rigged. Thanks, Richard Mote sprinks@aol.com

I just bought a 15 and rigged it witht he kids yesterday. I also would like to see some closeups of some of the other rigging. I'll try and get the digital camera out and take a picture of my jib hdw. Probably the same. You described it well. Where did you get the instructions. I had a 1968 ds as my first boat and found that a pully on that track works well. the cleat should be towards the stern on both the starboard and port sides. I still have that boat so next time i am over there i'LL take a quick look . also you can contact rudy at d&r marine .com and you will find him to be a very knowledgeable and personable man . Good Luck , enjoy sailing that boat just be careful with the centerbord, they can flip easily when that thing is up .

From the clew of the jib, inside the shrouds, to the turning block on the jibtrack on the inside of the coaming, through the fairlead and camcleat on the centerboard trunk top. Finish the line with a figure of 8 or stopper knot.
