I just got done with my project a couple of months ago on the same boat, 1987 H23. I re did the bottom, strippied off all old bottom paint down the gelcoat, fixed blisters, new interlux 2000e, then antifouling. Longest. most time consuming part was getting all the rust and crud off the keel and sealing it with the 2000e. Another very important part was sealing all the deck hardware, mainly the chainplates. gutted inside today Whew! not as bad as I thought gonna have to find a trailer when I get to deck hull joint.

I bought an H23 Saturday. I'll start with a total cleanup and raise the mast to get the rigging out of the way. This poor boat sat with the mast up for 9 years! I'll keep you posted.
