Request for H27 picture

Hello sailors,

I have a unique request. A good friend of mine has a Hunter 27 and I would like to make a painting of his boat as a birthday gift to him. I have some pictures of his boat, but I have mostly been ON the boat while taking the pictures.

I need a picture of a side view of the sailboat with one or both sails open.

I have tried google images but the pictures there don't show the whole sail mast.

The color of the boat/sail doesn't matter, I just want to get an idea of the shapes.

So please send me pictures of your boats on the water, side view. I would really appreciate it (and I think he will enjoy the gift).

Like you, all my pictures of my boat do not have the full view.
I have however attached a drawing do the 27' from the early '80's. Does that help.

There are three models of the H27 so the year is important. The line drawing above is a nice idea if the boat is a '75-'84. Under "Boat Info" you can find photos like these: http://hunter.sailboatowners.com/index.php?option=com_album&Itemid=278&catid=61&page=model .

Thank you so much!!! These are great! I'm not sure of the year but it's either late 80's or early 90's. Either way, I can paint the boat body exactly like his (I have pictures) and then use these pictures you guys posted to help me with the full sail.

P.S. I actually like some of the angled views of the boat -- they look more like an action shot. Might be more appealing to a male.

Check the owner's photo album in the Owner Directory tab on this site for posting of picx.

Also, go on Yachtworld.com and look up hunter 27's of that year range and I'm sure you'll find at least one side view pic in one of the photo galleries of the one your friend owns.
