repowering Hunter 27

I want to replace my renault 8 hp with a 5411 on a 1980 hunter 27. Has anyone done this? Can anyone give some advice?

DID IT

Did It on my 80 H-27 with a Yanmar2GM. Pleanty of power. Would prefer a fresh water cooled model. Also look at Vetus engines. They have small two cylinder models too.

Have a "80 Hunter 27' and it has the Yanmar 2GM also... plenty of power especially against hard current... would like to change to FWC tho...
