Repower with new Engine-Yanmar

I have a 1990 Moorings 38 ( Beneteau) would like to repower but they don't make my engine anymore 3GM30F. Like to know if there is a lot of modification work to install a new 3YM30 Yanmar. Yanmar won't even answer their phones so their no help.
