Sylvain, I don't know if it's going to be of any help but my 34 (1 inch shaft) had a 15 X 15 RH 2-blade prop before I switched to a 3 -blade (15 X 11). My 3GM30F engine has the Kanzaki tranny with a 2.61/1 ratio.

I'm about to order a new shaft as the original bronze one has a bit of a wobble at the tapered end and some wear at the strut.

I also got a Kiwiprop from the guy who sold me the 3GM30F but I want to have a spare bronze 2 blade prop on hand.
I got some different recommendations from Michigan Wheel and other suppliers. I'm sure some of you here have one fitted already. I'd like a 2 blade spare for easier storage. Looking to buy used preferable.

I have a 2 blade max prop, my first 2 blade prop! Fully adjustable pitch, I saw a person selling one on the classifieds in this site, it,s a nice as it feathers when sailing but goes in to full pitch either way foward or reverse,now the bad side it has terrible prop walk with to two blades I had never had so much prop walk as when I switched from 2 to 3 blades and the 3 blade had less vibration than the two blade something to think about,good choice in motors though they run great and the 3 cylinder will vibrate the boat less. hope that helps.

Sylvain- I have a 2 blade 15X12 that I replaced with a 3 bade Campbell Sailor 14X9. It is a 1" shaft RH prop. If you are interested in it- drop me a PM.

The H37C used a 15 X 16 RH with a 3QM30 ... a 15 X 12 might be under propped? No idea really - you need to check out one of the prop manufacturer sites...

Are you sure you're under-propped? Do you easily achieve maximum rpm at WOT? Can you cruise at hull-speed at 2100 -2200 rpm? On our 37c the 3qm30 would max out at 2,200 rpm at WOT while underway when we first got it last year. It had all the signs of being over-propped. As Jim says the 37c came with a 15x16 2-blade. After talking to 'the man' at West by North I decided on the 3-blade Campbell Sailer 15x12. His recommendation was 15x11 but I felt that was a little too drastic a change for a 30 year old engine - even though the hours meter says around 3K. The engine will develop full rpm now at WOT and the vibration is much, much less while underway. 6.5 kts/hr at 2200 rpm without the smoking - and power in reserve. I talked with a number of specialists from various prop manufacturers and suppliers before ordering one and giving them all the same specs, came up with a wide range of recommendations - some were helpful and some not so much. I chose what I did partly because of satisfied customers' write-ups on this website and am glad that I did - I'd recommend one. If the prop-walk issue changed at all I think it's maybe a little less with the 3-blade - but maybe my thinking is affected by what I paid for it. The old 2-blade makes a good emergency back-up.
