What are you waiting for? Get it done while it is too cold to sail!
It isn’t a fine wine….it won’t get better (or easier) with age
Have fun,

I agree,
I decided to do it now for a non-obvious reason… remember just one year ago when you couldn’t buy anything in a store (supply chain bullshit). Well, I didn’t want to wait with buying the hose, only to find out it’s 38 week delivery. Especially because you ONLY want the Vetus hose. Here is another tip.
On the water muffler, I used plumbing “goop” before I slid the hose on. And, I bought high end hose clamps (the type with the T nut). They were $8 each, and worth it.
On the exhaust, I was a little worried. The Fiberglas stub that they glassed into the hull isn’t that long. In fact, it wasn’t all that difficult getting the original hose off once I loosened the clamps. And, the original plumbing goop that Hunter put on was fairly set up at this point. My concern was that by just using the same goop, that the hose could get knocked off the stub if something in the locker (like a bumper, box of spare crap, etc), knocked into it
So, I decided to use 3M 4000 instead. Once it sets up, the clamps are almost irrelevant. And the hose isn’t coming off again in the next 10 years. And you’d simply just cut it at that point.
Whatever you use as a sealant, just use premium clamps, and toss the original ones.
