Replacing trapezoid windows

Our 1984 Hunter 31 needs to have the trapezoid window panes replaced. I removed one of them but can't get the pane out of the frame. has anyone done this before? Any suggestions?

Are yours aluminum frames?

If they are you will need to dig out the caulking. Probably a razor knife. It is tough stuff.

You can probably also cut it since you are replacing it.
