I am looking to replace the old Rutgersen Main Sheet Traveler Cars on my 1986 Hunter 25.5, and was wondering if anyone else has replaced the cars without replacing the track? If so, which brand and model of the Traveler Cars did you use to replace them?

I changed my fiddle blocks....

Steve, I went thru the same senario. It is a pain and expensive to replace the track and car. You would have to remove the old track, send it to the mfg who is supplying you the new track, and have them drill the holes the same. My rutgersen car is in pertty good shape, so I replaced the two fiddle blocks with Lewmar blocks # 19918700 and 19915700. These are old style now, but you can still get them from Lewmar. I got Sailnet to order them for me, took a couple of weeks. Cost $55 and $26. They are almost identical to the rutgersen blocks, and look very good. I also replaced the genoa track blocks with Lewmar, about $10 a piece. I am well satisified with Lewmar. Good luck.
