To all,Own a 1979 Cat 22'. Next major project is the rigging. From turnbuckle stress cracks all the way to the masthead, am looking for any advice, common sense or otherwise, to look for as I remove tape, spreader boots, plastic coverings that appear to be older then the lastest generation of college graduates. Am a cheap bastard - would like to do as much as possible myself. Up on Big Bear we regularly get winds in the 20 knot range - am just waiting for the opportunity to get an exciting story about having to cut away my rigging to avoid the mast puncturing a hole in the boat. On the other hand, I doubt the proceeds from selling such a short story to Sail magazine would offset the loss of the boat. Thanks for the help in advance.SJK SENDS
