My H23.5 has its slugs sewn in place at the end of each batten pocket. Of course, one of these just broke. Does anyone know of a simple way to replace this without removing/resewing? Thanks

Easy to resew

They make a small plastic shackle that works for a quick fix The best way is to replace the slug and webbing and sew it shut using a sailmakers needle and waxed thread. West Marine sells the thread and a needle for 6 or 7 bucks or a package of 10 needle runs over $25, once you have the supplies and extra slugs you are capable of repairng your sails any time they break or you could pay your sailmaker

Mine all broke about the same time.

They are plastic and the sun gets them. If one went bad I would buy all new and replace them as you have time before the rest break.
