Replacing Rutgersen Traveler Car on Hunter 25.5

Has anyone had success replacing the Rutgersen Main Sheet Traveler Car on a Hunter 25.5 without replacing the track? My main sheet traveler car broke apart in heavy winds over the weekend, and I need to replace it ASAP. I am moving upto a larger and newer Hunter in the spring, and don't want to invest the time or money in replacing the track on this boat. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Steve, you can have my old one.

I upgraded my 25.5 to a larger Rutgerson car which came with windward sheeting cleats. I still have the old one and will ship it to you. Email me with your home address: whitting@bellsouth.net Ted
