replacing rigging

I am in the process of buying a 1989 Hunter 37 and had the boat surveyed yesterday. The surveyor noted that the rigging should probably be replaced in the next few years. I agree with him, my personal feeling is that rigging should be considered for replacement after 10 years, and this appears to be original rigging so it is 12 years old. What is the approximate cost to replace all standing rigging on a Hunter 37? By the way, one of the reasons I have been looking specifically for a Hunter is this website. The magnitude of information available here is amazing. I look forward to being able to participate in this site as an owner!

Estimates are free.

I did a rough estimate using the Sailnet catalog. Turned out to be pretty accurate when a friend did it on the same boat(H37C). But I think Sailnet can be contacted for a free estimate. Worth a try, link is below.

Probably $2-3000

Assuming you have a professional do it. <$1000 to DIY. It's a lot more expensive to replace you mast.
