replacing portlight windows and frames

Looking to replace both portlight windows on my C&C Viking 34- they are approx Oval 36in by 8inch. with aluminum frame. and of course screwed in. and the frames are bent and leak

any ideas as to possible suppliers ----- or has anyone tried just putting a thick plexiglass without a frame

any suggestions greatly appreciated

Phil,

Bomon in Canada can reproduce your windows if you ship the old ones to them. They are actually quite reasonable for custom ports and they make a beautiful port. Do not confuse Bomon with Bomar, they are two different companies. Most of the companies that made the original windows for Catalina, Ericson, C&C etc. are unfortunately long gone..

I have first hand experience with Bomon and they do excellent work at a reasonable price. The fixed ports below were custom made in a couple of weeks.

very helpful -- I contacted Bomon and they gave me a price of $263 per window-- which was $130 per window cheaper than Bomar

Hopefully you are working with Alain. All of their guys are great be he happens to be meticulous.
