Replacing Missing Flotation Foam

Recently while doing some work on my O'Day 192, I noticed that a previous owner had removed some of the originally installed flotation foam. It would be fairly easy to re-install the missing foam and I'd like to do it because you have you have to dismantle half the boat to get to these spots. Does anyone know where to get the foam? Can you use the stuff plumbers use to support shower & tub enclosures - the stuff which comes in aerosol cans? Is there a source of foam blocks which can be cut to fit? I appreciate any suggestions that anyone has. Thanks in advance.

There are many choices, the foam blocks

you mention can be glued into place with canned foam. You can buy pourable foam in two part kits. You mix the stuff, it foams up like warm beer, you pour it where you want it, it hardens in a few minutes and you trim off the excess with a long knife.
