Hi, I have an O'Day 222 with a Z-spar mast step. I broke the aluminum casing and need to replace it. I'd like to replace it with a hinged system. A problem is that the mast has internal halyards and the hinged system does not seem to accomodate this. Has anyone ever replaced a Z-spar mast step with hinged system like the ones on D and R marine?
