I have a leak somewhere in my waste water system and am thinking about replacing the tank as the existing one is original on a '93 H30t. I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts from folks who have done so.

PS: I replaced the waste line from head to tank last year and can tell that there is no leakage in that part of the system. Thanks!

I replaced mine last year on a 92 Legend 43. I took the old takn out and sent photos to 3M (?) to fabricate a new "plastic" one. After all was said and done, I should have measured the space where the tank was housed and I could have bought a tank "off the shelf" that would have worked just as well and a lot cheaper. I found getting tot hte tank quite easy as I only had to unscrew and remove some furniture and floor boards. Good luck

Before spending money for a new tank...

I'd make sure I needed one by finding the leak in the system. If the tank isn't metal or isn't leaking, it doesn't need replacing...something else does.

Thanks Peggy. It's a metal tank and we're going to look at the outlet and the vent hookups first. It's in a p-i-a place but isn't that true with most?
