We decided to remove our 3 burner stove oven and replace it with a 2 burner stove as we rarely make anything but coffee and would like to reduce weight.

As a result we're going to gain some counter and storage space.

I'll be replacing the entire counter and putting new laminate down. I haven't yet pulled the counter off and was wondering if anyone's undertaken this project.

Did S2 just one layer of plywood on the counter? Did they glue a layer of ply to the ice box cover? Anything to worry about?

Any insight would be appreciated..

Mine (S2 8.0c) is a single layer of plywood and I am replacing it also. Is there any life left in your 3 burner stove and oven? What are you going to do with it?

The stoves in great shape. I was thinking of putting it on Craig's list.
