Replace the washers, instead

If the fuel lines are still good/intact, all you have to do is replace the washers at the banjo fittings. The washers are available from Yanmar for about 40 cents apiece. The thing about these washers is that they are one-use washers. They seat the first time wrench-pressure is applied. If you loosen them and they move at all, then they lose their "seat" and must be replaced. If you replace the fuel lines (after the fuel pump), be sure you use the correct replacements. They must all be the same length from the injector block to the injectors. That's why you see some with more twists than the others.

My 1984

Yanmar has banjo fittings, did the dealer check if later model fittings fit? My guess is that they do!
