Have you tried removing the shower control to look outboard of it? I'm not aboard at the moment but I will look around later this morning to see what I can see.

I've determined I have a slow leak in the cold water line leading to the forward shower (vberth) on my 44DS. I believe it is just before it enters the back of the shower where it is connected to the fixtures (I can hear the drip but not see it). Has anyone replaced this line. So far it looks like I'm going to have to cut an access panel above the toilet in the back of the head.
Well, I took a look this morning and I really couldn't find a good answer either. It looks like both the bulkhead in the head and the bulkhead in the shower are one piece, so their removal is a non starter most likely. I would suggest the following:
1. Definitely remove the metal trim piece on the shower and see what you can see. I don't think a straight run of the piping would develop a leak so it may be leaking from the attachment to the H/C shower control.
2. If you have the electric heads as I do it maybe leaking from a fitting on that line before it is connected to the head. There may be a way to access those fittings (I hope the hell there is!) and inspect them.
3. If you were to create an access panel outboard of the head you may be blocked from reaching outboard of the shower fittings by the bulkhead between the head and shower compartments. That bulkhead may extend out to the hull.
4. Try giving MH a call and ask them. They would also be able to tell you what is actually outboard of those bulkheads.

PS: One additional idea. In the shower there is a coriander surface beneath the shower control. You might consider removing that to see if there is an access beneath the surface.
