Replacing cabin sole; need help removing adhesive

Sometimes, me and Ross tend to get a little anal about things, but anyway, its nice to know there is a product that will remove:Cured 3M™ 5200 and other polyurethane adhesivesCaulks & sealantsBlack rub marksMost graffiti and oversprayAdhesive residueLiquid nailsAdhesive film from duct and masking tapeWipe away excess spills of sealants and adhesives including 3M™ 5200Polysulfide sealantsWill not harm: gelcoat, clear coat, plexiGlass, awlGrip®, imron®Anyone here ever use this product? Does it work well?I have used various products to remove old adhesive glue from old tape and havent found any of these [products to work all that well. Maybe this stuff is good.Tony B

For adhesive tape residue I find that GOJO hand cleaner works very well but you

Smear on a nice thick layer and go for a walk. When you come back it will wash off with soapy water.

Just just Emailed Dave and asked him to please

post the MSDS for anti bond. I have tried many products that claim great results but have yet to find any the live up to their promice.

I have a "cow pie" size rock hard gob of what I think is liquid nails type adhesive dried to the inside of my bilge area. I appreciate all the discussion, don't get me wrong. I love to read this foroum daily, but, I am not dealing with duct tape residue.I guess I will try to use a small wood chisel and carefully work this down to a smaller size.

Gallagher , Try a large chisel. See if the blob will

break out in one piece. If there was any paint under it, it should pull the paint off. Work all around the piece. If you can pry up a corner and hold that up, then you can get a little farther under the monster, sometimes two pry bars are much better than just one. Cold weather may assist you in reducing the flexibility of the lump. It is alright to cuss a little.
