The bow pulpit, on my 1985 O'day 28, needs to be re bedded. Water leaked between the interior of the hull and the upholstery covering in the "V" birth. This was undetected for some time and the material backing is spotted black from mold. Does anyone know where I can locate similar material or have any suggestions on replacing this bulkhead covering? If it's not available, should I use upholstery material with or without a rubberized backing? Is there a better disinfectant to kill spores than clorox? What glue should be used? All suggestions and recommendations are welcomed.
