Replacing Boom Gooseneck Assembly 22 Oday

Does anyone know how to replace a gooseneck assembly? The old one is bent and just about broken and I have a new one but have no idea how to replace it.

Drill out rivets with 3/16" drill bit. Break off heads, possibly drill out bodies enough to remove boom end casting. Replace, drill new holes for new casting. Rivet. It's not a bad idea to put Ultra Tef-gel on the new rivets, or Lanocote.
