I'm looking to replace existing AC breaker panel situated above my chart table on my 1987 Pearson 33 with out replacing or reconfiguring the original face plate. Any suggestions?

You can rewire the panel with new breakers and tinned wire. I assume you have not overloaded the current panel connections with accessories and don't need additional circuits. Uh, isn't the "Face Plate" the basis for the panel itself?
I confess I don't know the Pearson line of boats inside.

You are probably correct. I don't need additional circuits. I'll have to find the appropriate breakers.

all the holes and breaker sizes (physical) are standard so you should not have any problem droping in new breakers.

Obdoor, Be careful. All breakers are not standard to your panel set up.
I found that one (brand/year/model) fit and others didn't fit the application, but then my boat was built in 1979.
