Replacing a pedestal light

I have a 320 and my pedestal has a light at its base facing the cabin. It isn't working. I've tried to loosen it by hand from the outside and then from inside the pedestal. Before I do what I do so well, apply more force and break the entire fixture. I thought I'd ask and see if there's an easy way of doing this.

Screws & Cover

The bulb is accessable by removing the two screws on the the lens. The lens then just pops off. By the way, these are the same bulbs as used in the fore and aft navigation lights, so you might keep a few on board as spares. I have had to replace the same bulb and one nav light so far. Good luck, Steve
