An FYI for group members who may be looking to source replacement windows.

I have just taken delivery on a full set of windows from a vendor in California, USA. I sent the vendor cardboard templates from the cut-outs and he fabricated 6 1/2-inch tempered reflective bronze tint windows in white PVC frames for just over 1000 US $$ including shipping from the West to East coast USA. Frames can be painted to suit. Standard seal between frames and glass is white but can be black if you intend to paint the frames a dark color (as I do).

Vendor is Mark Plastics, Corona, CA, USA (google for URL).

Estrellita (formerly Puffin) is hull #1554 and being professionally restored to her original condition from inside out and top to bottom by Dawson Creek Boatworks, Minnesott Beach, NC.

Hi Peter,

Net is applied as below over the top of the final finish
1. The non-skid areas are masked off with tape
2. Tape is trimmed to exact non-skid shape with knife
3. The nylon netting is laid down dry and trimmed to the tape outline with scissors
4. Resin is applied over the net with a roller (carefuly)
5. Edges are feathered to the tape and the top surface sanded a bit to take off some of the 'bite' and then finished with contrasting polyester polyurethane topcoat.

Much nicer than 'sand' or glass beads sprinked in topcoat or adhesive backed non-skid material that eventually lifts.
