I have a leak in the sprayer hose connected to the sink in the head of my boat. It is made with a corrugated flexible metal housing with a thin walled tube that runs inside (see picture for example). The inner tube, which might be latex, is 5/16" ID x 3/8" OD which means the wall is only about 1/16".
I couldn't find a replacement for the entire metal housing, so I thought I'd replace the tubing instead. Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere that carries that type of thin walled tubing.
Has anyone else needed to replace a similar piece? Where did you get your replacement parts?

Thanks,
Scott

I've replaced mine at either Lowes or Home Depot. Pretty standard and easy swap out.

Thanks for the quick responses. I should have mentioned that I have already taken the hose to both Lowes and Home Depot as well as a couple of specialty plumbing shops with no luck. The connections on either end are not standard. One is a pipe thread and the other was something else that I don't recall right now.
I was hoping to find a source for the internal tube that I could replace which would allow me to re-use the existing corrugated hose.
Thanks,
Scott

Home Depot (and perhaps Lowes) has a selection of adapters and fittings that should allow you to create a connection to the new hose that you buy. Often your success will depend on the skills and helpfulness of the person who is on duty in or near the plumbing department. The second trip to the store might still be cheaper than replacing the entire sink faucet set in the head to get a new shower hose.

Hey, thanks for the responses, guys. It looks like I have some new places to check and maybe another trip to the hardware store. I'll let you know what I end up with.

Regards,
Scott

air brake actuating tubing might work, all small sizes avaliable and they take easily high pressure...

and as well commercial kitchen supply places handle very high quality complete hoses.

The mystery though is why the captain is addressing this issue when its the first mates task that requires the hose ? Shouldn't she be looking ??....hahaha..
