Looks like my choice is a little too wide. It is 22" and I have just a shade under 21" between the fiddles. Back to the drawing board!
With such limitations, does that mean the fancy electonic DAVCOR sink is back in the lineup. At 29.53 by 18.11 it fits one of the defined parameters.

We have black granite in our kitchen. It's nice to look at, but as mentioned, it's a pain to keep it looking nice. About once a month, we wipe it down with a thin smear of vegetable oil. Good luck with choice #2.

I think I found this one as the closest match for a single basin replacement. It's just a smidge less long than my existing sink and just an inch wider. So now I found a suitable width I think the length will do - it will be just 1/4" less at each end. It's also just 1/2" less depth so that works out too. I think I will preserve the existing double basin sink in case any future buyer prefers it. The existing SS basins look alright, it's just the drains that look nasty (it looks like peeling chrome). I think the drains can be replaced. But, we still want a single basin sink so this looks like the best fit I will find and I think the black faux granite will look good.
