we have a 75 oday 25 footer, sailed on san francisco bay. while out in the normal 25 mph winds, the rudder snapped off below the lower pintel, horizontilay. does anybody know if a current boat mfg makes a rudder that could be adapted to this model of oday. it"s a centerboard model, and the old rudder had a slight cutout so it tucked under the hull.

I have repaired a rudder
I have a 77 CB Oday 25, I had a similar problem last year when my rudder was sheared off at a similar position during a hurricanne. Fortunatly a week later I found the missing lower section and was able to slice and repair it. I could, if you wish, send a sketch so you can get one manufactured. Pete Osborn (Sea Fever)
