Girlfriends Daughter knocked over my companion way sliding top and it shattered.

Where can I get a replacement?

Okay, I see you haven't had much of a response yet.

I can't see what boat you have on my mobile device, but in any event, if you have to go to an aftermarket supplier then check with your local plastic sheet goods supplier(s), asking for a suitably sized piece of acrylic.

Good luck.

Just go to your local glass shop with it and they will cut you a new one. It will be flat stock though. Chief

One good source are marine yards in their scrap pile and if you find a piece big enough to measure and cut, probably it will be cheaper. THat was one way I was able to find pieces much cheaper without having to purchase a whole sheet.

I have worried about this guaranteed failure on my H22 every since I got it. I presently have a 2 inch crack that will eventually look just like yours.

I have seriously considered looking at replacement 'windows' for skylights.. I think there might be a fit there, and would not be surprised at all if that was not the original source.

A higher end building supply place, or the internet, might supply an answer. The arch in the companionway is going to severely limit how well a flat piece works. If you use a flat piece, I think you're going to end up building a frame that has the arch built into it and is 1.5 or so inches 'tall' to get over the entire arched portion of the hatch.

This outfit may be able to help:http://www.lustercraft.com/. They are located in Wichita. Kansas. They sell all kinds of thickness of polycarbonate sheets. They cut it the size to order. Also might be a company that sells the stuff in your area as well.
Good Luck!

So far quotes have been 750-850 dollars... I didn't pay that for the boat!

Georgia Bill;

Again check with boat yards at the coast or at Lake Lanier to see if they have any scrap big enough that would work assuming you are in Georgia. As a dealer and to keep the price down, I had my contact boat yards and most of the time I found what was needed and did not have to buy a brand new sheet which can be costly.

Select Plastics in Norwalk, CT. They are kinda the go-to for most people with any custom marine plastic portlight or hatch repair, at least on the east coast....

Lexan will not break as far as I know. That means that piece is Plexiglas and your local Glass shop will cut you a new one for maybe 50 bucks. It will be flat stock, but will be tinted though. Chief

I am just starting to collect parts to replace the one on my 34. I bought the 1/2" thick, light smoke tinted acrylic (plexiglass) from e-Street Plastics.. don't know how thick yours is.. they will cut a piece to size for you.

It will be flat stock .. It is tough to find 1/2" thick stuff. My local plastics folks had none in stock.
EDIT: I see that flat stock will not work.. Only way I know would be to get a plastic shop to do it. They'll have to use the old slider to make a mold then heat- bend the acrylic to shape. Probably why you are getting such big quotes. An alternate would be to build a curved frame of wood or composite that would be curved on the bottom but accommodate a flat piece of plexi.
RE_Edit: OK I see a former poster suggested the frame.. The old slider can be glued together then supported in sand in a box.. then waxed and plaster-of-Paris poured into it to replicate the inside contour. That piece of plaster, once carefully removed from the original, will make a male mold .. A plastic shop would put a sheet of flat on top and controllably heat the whole thing and the flat sheet will drape onto the mold. Then the new part has to be finished .. labor intensive. .

Sorry, didn't notice flat stock will not work. Suggest redo whole system and eliminate the curved need. Chief
